Italy blocks AI chatbot ChatGPT over data privacy failings

Italy has recently taken a stand against the use of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT, blocking it due to data privacy failings. The Italian Data Protection Authority (DPA) issued a statement on Tuesday that the chatbot had been blocked from being used in Italy after they found that it was not compliant with their national laws regarding personal data protection.
