An AI Artist Explains His Workflow

Artificial intelligence has been making waves in the art world for some time now, and it’s no surprise that AI artists are becoming increasingly popular. But what does it take to create a successful piece of artwork using AI? We spoke with one such artist, who shared his workflow and creative process.
The first step is to decide on the type of artwork you want to create. This could be anything from abstract paintings to digital sculptures or even 3D animations. Once you have an idea in mind, the next step is to find suitable data sets that can be used as input for your AI algorithm. These datasets can range from images taken by cameras or drones, audio recordings, text documents or even videos – whatever best suits your project’s needs.
Once you have gathered all the necessary data sets, it’s time to start training your model. This involves feeding the data into an artificial neural network (ANN) which will then learn how to generate new outputs based on its inputs. Depending on how complex your project is this process can take anywhere from a few hours up to several days depending on computing power available and complexity of task at hand . After training is complete ,you should have a trained ANN capable of generating unique outputs based off given inputs .
Now comes the fun part: creating something beautiful! Using tools like GANLab or RunwayML you can easily manipulate parameters within your ANN such as color palettes , brush strokes , textures etc., allowing you full control over how each output looks like . You also get access to various pre-trained models which allow for quick experimentation without having go through entire training process again .
Finally when everything looks just right ,it’s time export finished product either as image file format (JPEG/PNG)or video file format(MP4). And voila ! You now have created something truly unique using Artificial Intelligence!
AI art may still be relatively new but with advancements in technology we are sure more amazing works will come out soon enough! |An AI Artist Explains His Workflow|Technology|Kottke
