Levi’s To Use AI Models To ‘Increase Diversity And Sustainability’

Levi Strauss & Co. is taking a major step towards increasing diversity and sustainability in the fashion industry by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) models. The company has announced that it will be partnering with Lalaland, an AI-powered platform for creating 3D virtual models of clothing items, to create more diverse and sustainable products.

The partnership between Levi’s and Lalaland will allow the company to use AI technology to create virtual models of their garments that are more representative of different body types, sizes, genders, ethnicities, ages and abilities. This will enable them to design clothes that fit better on people from all walks of life while also reducing waste associated with traditional garment production methods.

In addition to using AI models for product development purposes, Levi’s plans on leveraging this technology for marketing campaigns as well. By creating virtual images of their garments on various body types they can ensure that everyone feels represented when viewing their advertisements or shopping online. They also hope this initiative will help reduce the environmental impact associated with producing physical samples for photoshoots or other promotional activities.
