Westworld is an American science fiction western television series created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. It is based on the 1973 film of the same name, which was written and directed by Michael Crichton. The show takes place in a fictionalized version of the Wild West, where guests can experience life as a cowboy or outlaw without any consequences.
The first season of Westworld premiered on HBO in October 2016 and quickly became one of the most popular shows on television. Throughout its ten episodes Season 1 explores how far people will go when there are no consequences for their actions while also introducing us to some interesting characters along the way including Clementine Pennyfeather(Angela Sarafyan ), Armistice(Ingrid Bolsø Berdal ), Hector Escaton(Rodrigo Santoro ) & Lawrence/El Lazo(Clifton Collins Jr ).
