Voiceflow, a platform for building conversational AI experiences, has recently raised $15M in Series A funding. This round of financing was led by Inovia Capital and included participation from existing investors including Real Ventures and BDC Capital.
The Toronto-based startup provides an intuitive platform that enables developers to create voice applications without needing any coding experience. Voiceflow’s drag-and-drop interface allows users to quickly build out their own custom voice apps with the help of natural language processing (NLP) technology. The company also offers integration with popular services such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Slack and more.
This new round of funding will be used to expand the team at Voiceflow and further develop its product offering. The company plans on using this capital injection to increase its presence in the market by introducing new features such as analytics tools and integrations with other platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot CRM systems. Additionally, it hopes to use this investment to grow its customer base which currently includes companies like Shopify, Microsoft Azure and IBM Watson among others.
